    Feb 23rd, 2010 at 08:24:05     -    Columbine Massacre (Other)

After walking around the school and killing both students and janitors the biggest theme that stood out to me was the stereotyping. The Church Boy was in the library, the Goody Good girl was wearing a nice blue dress and the janitors were dark skin (I think they were either Mexicans or Indians) they were for sure not white.

Also when I went into the library Dylan shouted out something like “All the jocks stand up” so that way they were easier to target and kill. I called the cops pigs and then they shoot me to death. I also had a choice at the end to see if I wanted to keep killing or if I was done, I was for sure done because there was no point in liking all the students. I found no satisfactory in it.

At the end the media gave us a bunch of pictures after the shooting and both shooters when they were kids all the way to their college years. Looking at the pictures made me wonder what went wrong with the kids. What triggered them to do such a horrendous act? After the pictures I was sent to hell and this monster killed me. And that’s when it was over. But I still wonder why they had this one picture of 9/11 and the Twin Towers. I guess they wanted to link these two boys to terrorist in a way. Which is miss leading the public.

    Feb 22nd, 2010 at 12:55:58     -    Columbine Massacre (Other)

This is my second day of game play and I finally got past the hall monitors and cameras without getting noticed. I got back to the parking lot, got my black bag and went to the hill to meet up with Dylan. The black bag had a large number of weapons in them. There was a shot gun, machine gun, sub machine gun, a bunch of knifes, and like three different bombs. This is a surprise and it definitely promotes violence.

I also wanted to touch on the subject of race in this game. When the bombs did not go off it was then time for me to start killing everyone (I think I was supposed to do) in the school. When I entered the school students started to notice me and the battle screen was popped up. I stereotyped each person I fought against. Some of the names I have these students were “Preppy Boy, Gay Guy, Goody Good Girl, Popular Girl, and Church Boy.” In this game you can’t avoid people and we have to in a way fight them.

It is clear that Eric my character hated everyone and hand no mercy to even the “Church Boy” in the library, they were just angry with the people around them. I just wondered around the school fighting people and trying to figure out what the next step would be. Eric used these people as a means to his end he did not care about death because in the beginning he told us that everyone dies and it was just their time to go.

    Feb 21st, 2010 at 23:09:20     -    Columbine Massacre (Other)

This was one of my first PC games I have ever played and it was fairly enjoyable. It was not complicated so I managed to get through it. It did take me a while to get actually get pass the hall monitors and the cameras, it took me multiple tries to get to the cafeteria and back outside to the parking lot.

During the game I have noticed that there were provocative words being used by me (Eric) and by my buddy Dylan. This game strongly promotes violence because we had to get all the weapons and set bombs in certain areas in the cafeteria. Not only that but we had to be careful not to get caught by any hall monitors or cameras. I noticed that I was following more orders from Dylan then myself. He kept on stating that this was the day and would swear at me if I did something wrong like if I ran into a hall monitor or if a camera caught me.

My overall view my first game play was that it was violent and the kids had a huge hatred towards the rich kids and girls. I also noticed that they played a lot of attention towards what I was wearing because one of the hall monitors stated that I dressed funny. Which was weird for me.
