I played the game today and I found myself wondering, why should anyone have to play this crap? This game really does not accomplish anything, it sheds no new light on the Columbine Shootings, doesn't necessarily project a reflection of modern culture, and is really just trying to get a reaction I feel.
All this game does is after you set the bombs in the cafeteria is really just allow you to walk around shooting innocent students, teachers, and janitors, all fitting the appropriate stereotypical types. Which presents another ethical issue I have not touched on which is racism. It may not be obvious since people are not of different races all the time, but this is a form of Racism(possibly one of the most common in high school). I feel that nothing in this game presents anything that is remotely useful or beneficial to anyone and is doing nothing other than taking up space on the net.

After playing this game for a little bit longer I couldn't help but ask myself, what the heck is this about? Who could be sick enough to make this into a game. I understand that this was just a game meant to bring attention to a recent event, but it was such a terrible tragic event, why should we have to relive something like this? The game's shock value is just amazing and I couldn't help but feel sick while playing it.
I can remember this event when I was in High School and how shocking it was and playing through the events made me remember how terrible this whole thing was. I guess from a historical perspective, it does help to remember how bad the whole Columbine shooting was.
The thing that got to me most was the cinematic of how Dylan was always sitting by himself at the lunch table every day through high school as it brought back many memories of eating lunch by myself every day in high school. It made me realize how truly sick and demented these people were. They could have chosen as I had and changed from being an outcast to someone who was intent on reaching out to the outcasts or chose to rebel and destroy those they secretly wanted to be like. It's so sad that this game truly shows how they expressed their anger and rage towards others. It's just so sad that they handled this the way that they did, and reliving this through their eyes in a game is just shockingly terrible.
I do also question the ethical reasoning behind making the game. The developer obviously wanted to make a point that these 2 people were seriously messed up and it wasn't their parents, it wasn't music, it wasn't video games, these are all just scape goats for a seriously screwed up world that really needs to go through a total reform and renewal.
