So I went back to playing the game, and I forgot just how boring it is... I go through a classroom, kill a bunch of people, go to another classroom, etc. But when you think about, this could be a good thing. It basically denounces killing by making it incredibly repetitive and boring, so maybe people would be a bit less tempted to follow suit. It makes it seem as if it is chore, since clearing a classroom with only about 6 or 7 people in it apparently takes a few minutes. As for the rest of the game, well, I got so bored with it that I eventually just wound up avoiding everyone until I found the library. I was confused on what to do, but I found an open window and tried to jump out, and what resulted is what happened in the actual Columbine event; they saw the cops outside and shot at them, then killed themselves. It was good that the game showed all the scenes of people in fear and all the chaos that resulted in this horrible event in the cutscene that took place. Then, I was surprised to see that the game continued, and that I was now in Hell, except only V was there. I thought that all I would have to would be to walk for a bit and kill Satan, but what I found instead was an incredibly annoying maze-like room full of the monsters from Doom. I got as far as I could using only the pistol I had, but eventually I wound up fighting 4 demons at once, and pretty much instantly died. At this point, I was pretty frustrated with the game in general, and this was just the breaking point. The gameplay itself was pretty bad, but the message it conveyed was that this whole event was pointless and stupid through the game's humor. It poked fun at the kids committing the act, as well as the people that put the blame on video games or music. Hopefully people realize this instead of assuming that it was trying to glorify this horrible event.

Once I started playing the game again, and I actually got the duffel bags out of the trunk, (which would have taken me a very long time to figure out if my friend didn't tell me about it) I got past the annoying hallway and into the even more annoying cafeteria. I was told by V to plant the bombs at the table by the vending machines, but apparently you have to find the very exact spot where you are supposed to click to plant the bomb. You had to do this twice, and the other one was on the other side of the cafeteria at another very exact spot. Another ten minutes down from finding these spots... Once I finally planted the bombs, I had to go back to the car and get the weapons and watch as the bombs failed to explode. After that, the game turns into a sadistic form of pokemon, where you kill students and teachers in turn based combat. Of course, you completely overpower everyone, since you have guns. This wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I thought that you would run around and shoot everyone once and they would pretty much instantly die. This gave it more of funny spin, so as not to be too offensive. It's still offensive, of course, especially when you start killing little children. The game also makes the knives you use incredibly weak compared to guns, which makes sense, but it gives the impression that it's more okay to use a knife on someone than a gun. You could kill someone either way, but it makes it seem like knives are just toys and they don't do anything!

When I first started playing this game, I wasn't expecting much, other than really obscene things. Let me just start by saying this game is BAD! As in, it is both offensive, and horribly designed! (At least from what I've played so far) I laughed at how cheesy it was and that it was poking fun at people who say that violent video games (DOOM!) and bad role models (Manson) can lead to violence in real life. It was hilarious that you had to gear up, as in pick up your bag and shove bombs into it, and all the ridiculous dialogue between the two kids was just... well, ridiculous! But on that note, the text in the game is HORRIBLE! I could barely make out what they were saying, especially since things like the letter t and i having about a one or two pixel difference between them. This frustration translated into the gameplay, where I literally haven't even passed the first stupid hallway of the school! I walked in and got instantly busted about 4 or 5 times before I realized that there was a blob on the wall that turned out to be a security camera. Then, once I finally got passed that, the hall monitors, (which there are so many of in that hallway!) auto tracked me when I kept checking out different doors seeing which one I had to go through. The game doesn't tell you what you are supposed, since apparently, I just found out that you need to click on your car to get the bomb out, which you didn't do when you got out of the car for some reason. The game is amusing when I can make out the text, but the game design is just bad!

I got bored driving around and doing random things to I decided to just do story missions. The next one I did involved going to a fast food joint and watching Smoke pig out. Hilarity ensued when suddenly I was in a car chase while Smoke just kept eating instead of shooting. The mission was pretty funny, but I still had no idea who I was chasing down. They kept saying it was some rival gang, but it seems like all I've done to them was to spray over a few of their tags. Granted, I did spray two of them in the face, but is that really so bad? Sarcasm aside, I didn't like not really having a sense of who the main threat in the game is supposed to be, and I still didn't find out in my play session today. Maybe it's revealed later on, but I like it when games immediately let you know what the overall goal of the game is, and who the opposition is. For now, it seems it's just random shenanigans, which is fun, but gets old fast without this main driving force behind it. Anyway, after I destroyed their car and easily avoided the cops, I went on to the next mission, which just involved a shooting tutorial and buying clothes. This could have been one of the first missions, but instead I was left to figure it out on my own since I had already stumbled across an uzi randomly hidden under a bridge after the first mission. And I've been walking around in a white tank top the whole time, which slightly annoyed me. After that, I wound up picking up some guy named Jeffery, er, I mean, OG Loc, from prison, and doing an EXTREMELY annoying motorcycle chase to kill some gay guy who stole Loc's rhymes. By this point, I didn't even question why the cops didn't bother to chase a guy who sped past their car while shooting at someone. Instead, they politely waited until I was done chasing this guy all over town and finally killed him. I guess the cops really hate it when criminals get killed...
