As I play on and meet more people in the game, I feel more and more drawn into the game and my character. I don't question the missions I'm sent on at all as I see them as what needs to be done to make my gang better rather than what I have to do to advance in the game. I also think that the missions where I'm required to do things with the other characters in the game seem more realistic and it seems plausable that four guys trying to build up thier gang from nothing would do the things I'm required to do.

As I continue to play Grand Theft Auto - San Andreas, I'm realizing how outrageous some of the things I'm being required to do are. One of my fellow gang members and my character were talking about how crack cocaine was causing problems in our gang, but instead of trying to find a decent solution to the problem we simply killed a drug dealer to make us feel better. I'm finding that I'm getting caught up in these moments and going along with what my friends are telling me to do because I actually agree with what they're saying at the time. The characters are really helping to draw me into the game as they are so easy to relate and connect to even though I have a totally different lifestyle.

As I played through the beginning of Grand Theft Auto - San Andreas, I really got into the character of Carl Johnson. When I was interacting with the other characters it felt as though they were talking to me. I really felt like I was a ganster representing my set when I was roaming the town spraying my gang's tag all over the place. When asked if I was really in San Andreas to stay with my family, I felt that I needed to prove myself so I readily took on their missions. I think that the culture of the gangster was displayed very well through the characters of the game. Their clothes, thier language, and their actions really were very believable as true and accurate. I felt a connection to all of the characters right from the start through my interactions with them.
