I think that the last part of the game so bad that I couldn’t stop myself from laughing. Eric was saying things like him and Dylan could have moved to Island where American can’t reach them. To me, they were the problem but they kept blaming it on the America, which was pretty dumb thing for developer of the game. The most ridiculous thing happens after Eric and Dylan commits suicide. Instead of just ending the game, the game is transported to hell. When I saw this, I honestly thought that creator was an idiot. I didn’t see any logical reason why this was even the part of the game. It made so sense to me at all. Again, we do same thing but this time fight a demon. I would never play this game again.Thu, 29 Oct 2009 13:53:21 CDThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4011&iddiary=7550Super Columbine Massacre RPG (PC) - Wed, 28 Oct 2009 22:34:45https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4011After playing the game for the second time, I found myself very frustrated and confused. As the setting changed to school, the goal was to plan a bomb at the school cafeteria. But as I made my way to school cafeteria, I was constantly caught by the security camera and ran into hall monitor and other students. After numerous try, I finally passed through the hall. But when I entered the café, I was again confused. First, I didn’t know which table I was supposed to plan the bomb. I tried bunch of tables by the soda machine but it was a failure. After spending sometime, I finally figured it out and came out of the school successfully. As Eric and Dylan were having a conversation in the park, I was sensing very strong hate from these two characters. After the conversation was over, I was shocked how many guns and weapon the character was armed with. After setting the bomb inside the car, the killing began. This part made me think that game is trying to tell the gamer that it wasn’t their entire fault for the shooting. It is somewhat governments fault for making it so easier for teenagers to have an access to guns.Wed, 28 Oct 2009 22:34:45 CDThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4011&iddiary=7519Super Columbine Massacre RPG (PC) - Tue, 27 Oct 2009 21:43:07https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4011My first impression of Super Columbine Massacre RPG was that it looked very similar compared to pokemon. After playing for a bit in the beginning, it seemed like the character Eric is very depressed kid. When he had a phone conversation with Dylan in the morning, both of them seemed like they didn’t care about dying. Also, the background music is very dark and helps the atmosphere in depressed mood. I was also pretty impressed how the creator put things to make the game real as possible. For example, when the real Columbine happened, the media and people blamed Marylin Manson for the cause of shooting. During the game, they mention Marylin Manson’s status and the shooter even says that even though it’s not Marylin Manson’s fault, people will blame him. So I thought that was pretty interesting.Tue, 27 Oct 2009 21:43:07 CDThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4011&iddiary=7491Grand Theft Auto - San Andreas (PS2) - Thu, 24 Sep 2009 00:30:32https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=3891In my third playing around, I realized how much fun I am having, playing San Andreas. Even though I’m still in the earlier stage of the game, I think that story line is what makes this game so great. In one of my recent mission, I had to go beat up the crack dealer. As I approached the crack dealer, I used baseball bat as an weapon and beat up the crack dealer until he was dead. All of sudden I realized how much I have enjoyed the violence in the game. Due to this, I thought if this game had this kind of effect on me, what will it do to kids who are playing this game? Children are easily influenced, so I do believe that a child who plays this game can become more violent.Thu, 24 Sep 2009 00:30:32 CDThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=3891&iddiary=7326Grand Theft Auto - San Andreas (PS2) - Tue, 22 Sep 2009 22:40:23https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=3891After playing for the second time, I was very used to the game play. So as usual, after loading the game up, I found out I had a mission to complete. One thing I found interested was when Officer Hernandez called CJ and telling him not to leave the town. It made it sound like Officers wanted CJ to stay in town to use him for corrupted action. As game went on, I found out that one of CJ’s friend, Big Bear, is a drug addict. Big Bear is so addicted that he is cleaning house just so he can smoke. I thought game was showing that how drug addiction can turn normal person into very weak individual. In terms of missions I have completed so far, I see them immoral. Not just mission, but how CJ just robs the car in the middle of street and saying “I’m just a street criminal”. CJ feels no remorse for his action and does not think about the consequences.Tue, 22 Sep 2009 22:40:23 CDThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=3891&iddiary=7285Grand Theft Auto - San Andreas (PS2) - Tue, 22 Sep 2009 00:38:28https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=3891After playing San Andreas for the first time, I realized from the intro video that CJ grew up in rough neighborhood. For example, right from the start, CJ was stopped by the cops for no reason and was accused of possession of drug money. This was pretty shocking because cops are the people who “enforce” laws. I also saw very strong racism in the game when one of the cops told the cab driver “greaseball bastard” and “stupid Mexican”. In one of the scene, there was drive by shooting towards CJ. From this scene, I realized how everyone was acting not all that surprised. It seemed like they were used to this kind of violence. I was maybe because it is due to the environment they grew up in.Tue, 22 Sep 2009 00:38:28 CDThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=3891&iddiary=7270
