The next mission is to plant the bombs in the cafeteria. This part was surprising for me because I didn't know they used bombs in their attack. This is very annoying part of the game. You have to sneak in to the cafeteria and plant the bombs in two specific places. It sounds easy but there are guards and cameras which cannot spot you. It is pretty easy to maneuver around them but, each time you get caught you have to start all over again, which is very annoying. This part took me about an half an hour to pass. Now is the time to start killing. After bombs I planted failed to explode, boys started shooting everybody on its way. I found it to be very annoying and simply boring. I was killing anybody I found on my way, the only difference was the weapon I chose. They had a plenty of arsenal to choose from; shotgun, machinegun, handgun, home made bombs and knifes. I wonder if that was what they had in reality, but I don't believe that they could get those weapons. Especially the homemade bombs, how can you blow one without hurting yourself? As I continued to play I was getting angry at the monotony of the game. The people I was killing were named by typical high school stereotype personalities, like jocks, pretty girls, church boys etc. also there were teachers and janitors. So I continued shooting and eventually I got to the library where outside the window, cops showed up. I had an option to end it or continue killing other kids but I was so bored that thankfully I chose to end it. This lead to conclusion of their mission- suicide. The game explains that they just wanted to be left alone and, go away far from everybody else. At the end the game shows pictures after the tragedy that happened. When I started playing the game I felt very touched by it. When the shooting part begun I got so bored that I lost the interest in the game. To my surprise this was not over, the game continues in hell. I didn't play anymore because it is to boring. This game makes me wonder is this like a tribute to Eric and Dylan? At this moment I have no idea what is the point of the game. Why would anyone want to make it or play it and why was it so popular. This game is not good at all it is based on tragic story and probably this is the only reason it was popular. Its very sad that nothing could be done to prevent this. Also I'm surprised that nobody even their parents didn't realize that something is wrong with them, and they need help.Wed, 28 Oct 2009 23:23:08 CDThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4010&iddiary=7522Super Columbine Massacre RPG (PC) - Wed, 28 Oct 2009 23:22:46https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4010Wed, 28 Oct 2009 23:22:46 CDThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4010&iddiary=7521Super Columbine Massacre RPG (PC) - Wed, 28 Oct 2009 19:19:00https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4010I returned to Super Columbine Massacre RPG. I realized that there is a lot more to explore in the game. I found out that almost every object has its meaning and its story. I decided to start the game again and see what I missed. In the basement I looked at the box with old pizza which took me back some time and explained how they were preparing for the "big day". It was a scene where they were testing a something explosive I think it was like a gas tank ? In the game they call it bombs, I'm unsure how two high school students were able to build a bomb, or I missed something. In other part of the room I found out little bit more about their lives. From their conversation I concluded that they were preparing this shooting for a long time. By now I imagine those two guys as complete screw ups, but to my surprise they didn't want to let their parents down and applied to universities. This shows that they were not hating everybody. I concluded that the school they went to was their target. Also in the basement I have watched a movie, witch I'm guessing is a motivational for them, but I can't understand the meaning of it. Next, they left a message to the people , to be watched after the massacre. This message really shocked me. They were apologizing to their parents and friends for what they are about to do. They were talking about a war, and that they have to do this. But why? I don't understand what could happened in their lives that created so much hate to society. Their hope was to kill 250 people that day, which is also shocking. They continued to say that they will kill them all because of the last four years. It really makes me wonder what kind of bad things happened to them throughout those years. Honestly this is one of the first games that moved me so much. I didn't even get to the shooting part. I think it is because this was a real story. All the facts and the games mood, music, it just points to a very bad conclusion and there is nothing that I as a player can do about it. This is what moves me the most in this game. Playing it I fear powerless and weak, I want to do something but I can't. I understand this is only a game and that nothing can be done to change the past but still the game has a special impact on my emotions while playing the game.Wed, 28 Oct 2009 19:19:00 CDThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4010&iddiary=7509Super Columbine Massacre RPG (PC) - Tue, 27 Oct 2009 21:24:08https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4010I just started playing Super Columbine Massacre RPG. Coming into this game I did not know as much about the story as everybody else. I was not in US at that time. Throughout my years in States I heard people talking about this Columbine Massacre, but the only thing I know so far is that two students went in to the school with guns and killed many fellow students, teachers and themselves. I was thinking about doing some research first but after playing the game for the first few minutes I realized that the game will probably lead me along the story. I started playing and right away it brought back the memories of Pegasus console I used to have back in a day. I didn't realize have bad those graphics were until now. I had a hard time realizing what to do in the beginning of the game. I expected to game to start in the middle of the school with a machine gun and killing everybody I see. Surprisingly the game has a story mode with introduces both Dylan and Eric. After a phone call from Dyln it was clear that they are about to do something big. Judging after their conversation I can tell that they have a lot of hate for their fellow students at school. It seems that they were not to popular and they want to take revenge for everything they have done to them-but they didn't specify what caused so much hate. Also it is kind of shocking for me to hear that they are ready for death- they don't plan to come back . After playing this game for the first few minutes I felt touched by the game. I wondered if there is any alternative way to pass the game. Playing the game I fell like I want to stop and do something to prevent the upcoming massacre. Especially after reading the plan for the shooting, I fell like I don't want to stick to the story but there is nothing I can do. The only way to pass it is probably to follow the story. When the guys got in to the car I heard familiar music, Du Hast by Rammstein, which is one of my favorite bands. The English translation to the title is "You Hate Me". I wonder why the author of this game chose this song, is it something that the guys listened to in the car before they went on the rampage? Surely so far I can tell that hate is the only motive for the massacre, I will continue playing this game even though I fell like I don't want to, maybe because I would never do such a think and I can't imagine myself in this situation.Tue, 27 Oct 2009 21:24:08 CDThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4010&iddiary=7490Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PC) - Wed, 23 Sep 2009 22:59:30https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=3901In this game log I decided to describe a mission titled "Los Sepulcros". Objective of the mission is to do a drive-by shooting of a gang members who were on the funeral of a gang member who I shoot during the mission "Drive by". It still involves a gang named a "Front Yard Ballas OG". So as you can see the story becomes more and more complicated and it follows a particular plot. Honestly I tried to pass this mission but I couldn't. I asked my sister to give me some hints, but still I had a lot of problems, but eventually I got an idea how to pass it. To pass the mission I had to recruit two more "homies" to help me do the shooting. Then I had to sneak in the back of the Los Sepulcros (commentary) and catch the "Ballas" by surprise. Then using a little cheat code(HESOYAM) I managed to kill them all(without any difficulties), which completed this mission. As you can see this mission is not much different than the one I described in the previous log. It just have a different story but the goal is the same. I find games like that very boring and not worth spending the money. On the other hand this mission supports my point that the game is ruthless and senseless. Authors show us that we have no limits and commentary is as good as any other place to do some killing. It emphasizes a human cruelty because those scene are nothing new to the public I'm pretty sure something like that happened before in the real life.Wed, 23 Sep 2009 22:59:30 CDThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=3901&iddiary=7320Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PC) - Wed, 23 Sep 2009 19:10:01https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=3922Today I decided to give the game a proper start and I have completed few missions. I'm not going to lie I don't enjoy this game. The only path that will lead you to finish is through killing, stealing, shooting, killing some more... and more and more... At least that's what my sister told me (hardcore fan of the game). I only completed few beginning missions and here in this log I will describe one of them. In this particular mission the goal is to find and kill the dealer who is selling drugs on Groove Street . So I went with Ryder(friend) to find the dealer and kill him. When I found him he was carrying a baseball bat, which was not a big obstacle because I got a pair of fists which is way more effective than a baseball bat(???). After beating up the guy to death I took his baseball bat. Then Ryder explained that this dealer is running with the local gang Front Yard Ballas OG. This became my next mission to go to the dealers place which was occupied by gang members, hookers and other dealers. So I went with my baseball bat, and beat up everybody to death because goal was to leave no survivors. We don't want any evidence. I had to retry this mission few times but eventually I managed to bit the crap out of everybody and went along to the next mission. I forgot to mention at the beginning why are we doing this?. We are doing this due to very good and honorable cause, to clean the street out of the drug dealers. Ryder is very passionate and worried about Groove Street families. All the missions I played so far are concentrated on gang activities. I don't know how will the plot expand throughout next missions but it has a potential to become an interesting story (for people who like this type of stuff). For me this is just to simple and to obvious. Violence I this game is not a factor that would pull me away or closer to the game. The part I don't like is that it revolves around gang activities which is very stereotypical to American cities. Every major city has its gangs and this subject became popular in many games and movies. I don't enjoy riding in the car to different parts of cities to kill all kinds of people or do some stupid activity like painting a gang sign with a spray can. My sister told me that it will get more interesting as we go along with next missions but still, I don't think that it will become a game I would actually recommend to somebody.Wed, 23 Sep 2009 19:10:01 CDThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=3922&iddiary=7308Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PC) - Tue, 22 Sep 2009 20:40:00https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=3901This is the first time I ever played Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas or any other game from this series. Even though I have it at home( my sister loves it) I never gave it a try. Mostly because this is not a type of game I like to play. I heard that the game is very violent and vulgar, which I found out to be true after playing it for first hour. At the beginning of the game we learn a little bit about the main character - Carl "CJ" Johnson. He came back from the East Coast, his mother was murdered and he has a strong criminal background. When I first started to play I decided to skip the missions and learn a little bit more about the game. Eventually I came back to play the missions, but in this log I will describe my first look, observations. I had a little bit of trouble with learning the controls but after a few minutes it became all clear. First thing I did I walked around the city and I found it pretty amusing. It was very big and full of life. My first interaction with its people was a "little" fight. I fought a lady passing bye on the sidewalk. Which for the first time was very entertaining. Game allows you to fight with anybody you see, some people will fight back, some will run away and rest will not do anything. I found out that after beating up somebody to death you get chased by police and it is fairly easy to escape. What stroke me the most is that after committing murder in the middle of the busy street there is no response from most of the people. It looks like it is not a big deal and nothing changes. This game makes killing look like it is not a big of a deal. In few minutes I killed more people and eventually I got bored doing it. It was so easy and pointless. Also there is nothing that limits you when you are killing(besides police). I found amusing that you can be as brutal as you want. I quickly understood why this game is so controversial. No wonder it is only for adults. Violence and vulgarity is limitless. Then I learned that I can steal every car in the city , drive like a maniac (killing more people) and that was it. I played for about an hour and I had fair understanding of what I can expect from the game in the next logs I will describe some of the missions I had to pass in order to advance through the game.Tue, 22 Sep 2009 20:40:00 CDThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=3901&iddiary=7282
