Yohantz's GameLogBlogging the experience of gameplayhttps://www.gamelog.cl/gamers/GamerPage.php?idgamer=1179Super Columbine Massacre RPG (PC) - Tue, 23 Feb 2010 15:06:18https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4130my last time playing the game was intriguing. I start to realized that after i killed myself in the game i noticed the cutscenes that was shown throughout the whole game. I finally paid attention to them. They werent the cutscenes of dead students but they were cutscenes of the emotions of the people that witnessed the event. That struck in me as the game designer was trying to make a point. He was showing the people emotions not to praise the game but to show the aftermath and after effect to show people what happen. I played this game all the way to the first couple of minutes of the hell part which i thought was stupid. THe game was to me prolonged and boring. I still felt applaud by the game but i felt as if thats was the game designers goal for the player. This game was hrrible and made me think of m own morals. More than likely i will never pick this game up again and i dont agree with the making of the game. MY last thought is that this game couldnt have been made for fun it mustve been made to make a point of something and i hope the game designer acheiver his goal.Tue, 23 Feb 2010 15:06:18 CDThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4130&iddiary=7730Super Columbine Massacre RPG (PC) - Tue, 23 Feb 2010 01:09:36https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4130This is the second time i am playing the game Super Columbine. I started this game with no enthuisiam and felt bored with this game. During this time i am running around with bombs trying to get past people to set the bombs in the cafeteria. This begin to get very annoying and actually extremely repetive. On the other hand tho it allow me to forget(somewhat) about what the game is based on and it felt like a hard level in a normal rpg. Soon though i got to set the bombs and sneak back out the room all the way back to my car to get the guns. As i gun the guns a short also distrubing cutscene appear and it lead me to go see Eric on the hill. We got each other guns and begin to get ready for the next thing, As i finsish the guns i return to the hill overlooking the school to wait for the bombs to go off then begin our assualt. AS I waited the bombs didnt go off and Dylan and Eric were shocked. This reminded me that this happen in real life and i begin to feel bad because it seemed like i was renacting it. Like is i was columbine student or person in the shooting i wouldnt want to rrelive these moments or go thru this as a video game like it is some joke. This is far from a joke in which it seems like the videogame makes it out to be. I begin to go around and randomly killing off all the student not by my own choice but because i had too. This also brought to my attention a question i been having for a while now; the question is why, why make this game. I was perplex and confused as to why someone will want to make a playable game to display such a tragedy as a joke. Are their morals corrupt. I wonder will gaming indivduals creat anything these day as a form of sick entertainment. This game began to get very distrubing and even more so when the two boys (ON MY COMMAND) killed themselves in the library. Then i stopped to resume later. At the end of this day i just sat profound with this game . I honestly couldnt believe this gme was actually made and produce its crazy.Tue, 23 Feb 2010 01:09:36 CDThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4130&iddiary=7721Super Columbine Massacre RPG (PC) - Tue, 23 Feb 2010 00:49:50https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4130 On day 1 as i prepared to play this game i actually noticed what i was about to play. This was very perplexing and distrubing for me. I analyed the game title and began to click on the icon to proceed. I then began to recollect thoughts of my previous knowledge of the columbine. This cause me to question why this game was made regardless of education purposes thiss game shouldnt have been created. I strongly believe this because of my morals. I believe killing shouldnt be atone in no way and creating a distrubing and ruthless game like this somewhat atones behavior. Anyway as i started playing this game i noticed its cruel language and the appauling behavior of both Dylan and eric. They absoulutly had no morals and could care less about others morals and life. The beginning of the game shows that the two boys were on a determined mission to kill. I played thru them beginning to go to the basement to get all their supplies. Then to the section in which they recorded there last recording. This is when the game got extremely boring and ridiculous to the point i wanted to quit playing. This game just simply disguted me from the point of Dylan waking up to the point we were traveling on our way to school i was disgusted and distrubed by the game. I felt as if i was in their shoes and i didnt want that feeling. My morals as a person kicked it and i focused on how they were morally wrong to plan on killing all those people. I slso seen the fact they felt morally obligated to provide "justice" for themselves and others kids that got picked on. This game so far is not appealing and very distrubing.Tue, 23 Feb 2010 00:49:50 CDThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4130&iddiary=7719Grand Theft Auto - San Andreas (PS2) - Tue, 19 Jan 2010 04:28:42https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4089As I start my last trial run with Grand Theft Auto San Andres I noticed that the game isn’t as bad as people make it out to be. This game is for the sole purpose of the casual gamer and can’t be blame for lunatics who decide to do things as they see in the game. In my final game play I looked back to my other reviews of the game and notice Grand theft Auto is a good game. It is essentially still a bypass time game but a game that deal with real issues such as random killing, murders, and jacking of cars. This game portrays gangbangers and mobs. IT sheds light into the reason some do the things they do also. In my final run through I fought and just killed all the people in a certain area to get all my stars up. This way I can end y trail with a bang, I fought with all six stars on and went head to head with the police. I died and this ended my trial run. The end result of killing everybody is going up against the higher ups in enforcement. This is depicted in real life runaway car chases, kidnapping, and murders. All in all moral is all in the game and this game is based off of what wrong in the world not essentially what’s rightTue, 19 Jan 2010 04:28:42 CDThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4089&iddiary=7653Grand Theft Auto - San Andreas (PS2) - Tue, 19 Jan 2010 04:15:30https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4089Today I’m continuing play on grand theft auto. This game is really intriguing and realistic. In these 50 minutes of play time, I drove around after “jacking” people’s cars. I drove around the city with the help of the map also continued to fight and run over random people because I had no interest in the missions. During the game play today I found out that following the basis of everyday real life in the game is boring and simple a waste of time. That’s what separates the game from fantasy to reality. In reality you have to follow the rules because you only get one chance. This game shows what a world without enforced and governed rules will be like. MY character even shows his morals during this game play. He has no care about the law or officials, anything in his way will get pushed aside, and he just wants to be known as the best and baddest. There are some People in the real world that follow after my character CJ and become a human bent on becoming successful or at least well known. During this game play I have also learned that not every rule needs to be followed to get where you want to be. Reality hits and when you don’t have the rules to follow and you just follow what you think and get your why to the top. This game had so many different components in it that makes it very fun for the casual gamer. On the other hand, with me I still do not care too much about the game. I'm more of a sports gamer but I understand this rpg and I understand the criticism behind it also.Tue, 19 Jan 2010 04:15:30 CDThttps://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4089&iddiary=7652Grand Theft Auto - San Andreas (PS2) - Tue, 19 Jan 2010 03:53:09https://www.gamelog.cl/logs/LogPage.php?Log_Id=4089Today I have begun play on Grand Theft Auto. This was the first time I played San Andres on this particular system. In the beginning of the game there were plenty of cut scenes. Even though the cut scenes actually were dragged out and unnecessary, you were allowed time to think about the game and what is it you are about to play. This pre-reflection of game allow me to think of real world situations. I of course naturally thought about gangs and simply put violence. Then the game play finally opens with your character C.J. (Carl Johnson). During this first game play there is no real ethical decision that has to be made. One ethical decision that can be made is the decision of to fight or not to fight. Since the game is in free roaming society it is acceptable to agree that in reality fighting random people on the street is unethical and lacks morals. In the opening part of this game, my character C.J is essentially trying to get on his feet once again and get adapted to his old neighborhood. This game is so closely related to real life it’s crazy. Even though I am personally not a fan of the game you can relate life aspects of the game to reality which is really amazing. The game play was kind of” blah” for me but it by passed time. All in all, I really was neutral on the game today and I put a hour and 48 minutes of playing time in .
