    jp's Wario Ware Touched! (DS)

    [July 8, 2005 01:24:23 PM]
I've noticed that each of the guys (who represent a level) gets a little silver crown when you play you've played each of their mini-games. Also, each time you get a silver crown...you get a new toy!

So, I'm trying to get all the little silver crowns in order to get more toys. Also, and I don't really think I'll do these, you can play each of the mini-games independently. You can "beat" them and get a little "rose" on top of each. Wow. There is a LOT to complete here...

So far I think I've got 4 crowns. I think that means I'm short another 4...but I can't really remember the exact amount.

Oooh! I got a chance to play before yesterday and I was able to unlock a new character! (Mr. Cream-colored bear?) I think that now I've got all the characters though it seems there are a few mini-games I've yet to see.

I think I've pretty much unlocked all there is to unlock. In other words, all of the main characters and stuff. The sad news is that it was over rather quickly and rather easily.

So, is it worth it? Oh yes. This is a really fun game, especially if you don't own the previous one. It comes with a zillion little mini games and things and it is the perfect game for 10 minutes of play.

I'm not really sure what my favorite little mini-game is, but I think the one with the bouncing ball (where you "draw" the trampoline) is probably pretty high up on
    my list.

Now...should I get Wario Twisted? Hmmm....

You know what the strangest thing about this game is?

No, it's not the characters, the music or the games...though I do agree that they are totally out there. The weirdest thing is that after playing all the games with the touchscreen, I can't understand how they games worked in the GBA version. It's bizarre, the games are just SO intuitive. They've really integrated the screen in so well, that it feels that using buttons is just so...wrong.

    Weird huh?

I like it more than the GBA one, and that one is great.
