I would be very confident in saying that I like and am a pretty decent gamer when it comes to fighting games and I will even say that for Soul Calibur 5. The only thing truly wrong with this game is that one character is very broken, but other than that it's fair and most importantly fun. The thing with Soul Calibur is that your character can move laterally and not just forward and back. I know Soul Calibur is not the first game to implement this mechanic but it is the first game I think of when I see that mechanic in other games. Soul Calibur has a kind of spell once you start playing you have a hard time stopping. I found it hard to even put the controller down for ten minutes to write this quick review. I would highly recommend this game to anyone with a playstation 3 or an xbox360.
