Abucaro1's GameLog for Super Columbine Massaacre (Web)

    Wednesday 12 May, 2010

What really surprised me while walking through the school was that a still image of Bill Clinton appeared on a TV screen and there was a voiceover of his voice speaking about the massacre. When Dylan and Eric went into a girls bathroom there was a group of girls standing around in a circle and Dylan says “All you girls do is talk, now it’s really time to die.” After the boys kill them Eric makes a joke that now the girls are speechless. The boys start laughing and say how much fun they are having. This scene disgusts me because they are clearly really enjoying killing people for no reason. When I got inside the library the cops started shooting through the window and Dylan turns to Eric and says “The time has come, are you ready to end this shit forever.” Eric then can make a choice to say either “Yes, the time has come” or “Lets blow away more shitheads.” I obviously chose the first one because I could not take this game anymore. It was getting pretty boring just going around and doing the same thing over and over again for no reason. The boys then say that maybe they could go somewhere that America would never be able to touch them. There is then an image of the boys on an island like they are dreaming, and they say “No one would bother us, pick on us or tell us what to do.” Clearly the boys are outcasts in society and they feel unaccepted by everyone. They then say that “Maybe we could hijack a plan and crash it in New York.” So the boys shoot themselves because they just want to get off of the planet. There is then a slideshow of pictures from the actual event that are really depressing. I thought that it was strange that the game also showed photos of the two boys growing up. The game almost makes the player feel bad for Eric and Dylan. I was then playing Dylan while he was in Hell. I have no idea where Eric was because the game never says. I ran into too many demons and died. After you die the screen says that The Trench Coat Mafia has failed and that Suburban Monotony lives on. I did not want to play again because the game is too repetitive and boring for me personally. Also, the game kind of makes me feel like an absolutely terrible person.

" Also, the game kind of makes me feel like an absolutely terrible person."

In what way? For playing it? For enjoying playing it? For some other reason?
