I just started playing Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and in fact this is my first time playing the game or any game on Play Station 2. The game was enjoyable like most video games, It was thrilling to steal cars, drive them, shoot people, and even fight them. This game seemed to mix elements of a lot of other games I played in the past, kike Grand Turismo or Tekken. There was one thing though that kind of bothered me. It was the character stereotyping and generalizing. As my character walked around and drove, all I could here were the other characters talking and I didn’t even need to look at them to match the dialogue with the people. The things they were saying seemed to come straight out of a rap video, a movie, or other things; it all seemed cheesy at best and offensive at worst.
