Today I set about acquiring an 'elite skill' for my Necromancer character. Elite skills are a special type of skill that can only be acquired by defeating a boss character in the game world. I checked the boss' location online using the wiki provided for the game and traveled to an outpost adjacent to the area where the boss was located. I assembled a party of AI-controlled henchmen to help me get to the boss' location. I decided to try and use a smaller party than the area allowed in order to get a better loot distribution. However the smaller party had trouble getting to the boss. Eventually, about 3/4 of the way there, my character died and the AI got stuck in a stalemate fighting with some mobs where neither side would prevail due to healers on both sides. I decided to resign and regroup back at the outpost. There I assembled a full party of AI henchmen. With this larger party, the boss was more easily reached and I was able to capture the elite skill I wanted.
