    Entry for Wednesday November 3
Yay for the final day of playing this game. I never thought I would never say that again. I can put this game back on the shelf and go back to other things. Today I took CJs girlfriend on a date few more times. We went for a drive by. It was so romantic. If you haven’t gotten it yet I am being sarcastic. I did some missions for my home boys and got some more respect. I stole from a big rapper to help out one of my homies with his career trying to move out of fast food business and into rapping and then I stole a van with musical equipment but I failed few times since I wasn’t that good so I quit and went to do some races on the dune buggie that I saw on the beach. After that I went back and did some more missions this time I challenged my sister’s boyfriend to a low rider car challenge. I got respect. After a hard days of work I finally put my controller down and thanked god that thanks to video games we can live a fake life and see a world from others people perspective time to go get some Halo Reach credits.

    Entry for Tuesday November 2
[Insert ten minute graphics rage here] I am not going to rage really about the bad graphics again and compare it to Vice City again but I felt like just giving up and not playing along the story mode and just rage at the citizens of San Adreas instead. After 20 minutes of entering all the fun cheat codes for weapons and multiple ammos I went looking for a populated enough area. Couldn’t find one so I just found a high enough area where the police couldn’t get me and I started shooting. In no time flat I had choppers, tanks and the whole National Guard on my ass just trying to get me. It’s still not Vice City but raging at the game AIs is really fun. The only thing I learned today was violence plus a lot of justice equals death eventually. After a good rage I just quit the game and let my thumbs recover after so much clicking playing games on PC and entering cheats on there is always more fun than on councils.

Late post for Friday October 29th
The experience of first time playing around was really disappointing. I have tried all the other GTAs in the past and the only one that I can think of that I liked the most was Vice City. The character in this new addition of GTA series didn’t bring anything new to the table, it was the same story all over again. Guy lands in the city, and gets presented with a problem. In Vice City you’re the new kid on the block, Tommy Vercetti (“the man with the big cohones”) and your old boss tells you to set up base in Vice City and have a channel for your drugs for Liberty City. The game narrative is still similar to all games someone always pushing you around to do things for them but in the end you comes out on top and sort of benefits yourself. Since this game has such big landscape the graphics look a little choppy but the benefit of the big map gives you more places to run around in but after a while it gets really tiring to travel from hospital or jail to CJs house. Right from the start my character is thrown into the world that he has no control over it. From dirty cops to friends that can’t control the neighborhood being overrun by other gangs. As I was playing the first time I was wishing that this game was more of a white collar game that you could go to work and earn money the honest way and not had to kill people or do violent missions to get some money together for a haircut or that outfit change. This game uses ethics to an extent. You are faced with choices left and right and the only answer to it is violence. Even as you drive perfectly on the street and obeying the rules of the road people jump in front of your car instead of away from it. The game has some justice is when you attack someone and the cops will try to catch you but the first time you end up in jail it even says that your money is used to bribe the cops to get out of jail. The only place that you can find locked cars in this game is when you are near a police department. All the police vehicles to try to get were locked and I had to beat on the door to get it. Anytime I start a GTA game before the full map opens up I try to do the missions to increase my health and armor and running speed. I give it to this game that it is easier to get more speed out of your run by exercising but I love the good old pizza delivery job and ambulance driving to get those fun health and running upgrades. These are the only jobs that you can do in these games to balance out your crime spree but its still a lot of violence.
