    Nov 9th, 2012 at 12:29:34     -    Downtown Drift (Arcade)

I chose to play Downtown Drift for GameLog eleven. Downtown Drift was a city racing game. Basically, the objective of the game was to defeat your opponents in a very fast-paced way by drifting around the corners of the road while speeding up and driving through the icons scattered picking up cash and opening mystery prizes. The mechanics and controls of the game were easy to follow and understand. The four arrows were used to drive, the spacebar and “x” key were used to drift, the “r” key was used to reset position, the “c” key was used to adjust the rear camera view, and the “m” key was used to mute and unmute the sound. What I liked the most was the fact that I could pick a track where I wanted the racing to take place. Also, I was able to choose a level, whether starting from a difficult or easy level. I was able to choose a car of my choice that also made the game worth playing. Also, after every win, it would automatically unlock the gamer to the next level as well as cool new cars. There was one lap at every level and the racing involved eight people including myself. The game was only available to a single player. Multi-players were not allowed and that I found interesting. The scenery were the game took place was really pretty. It looked like I was actually racing with my friends on a track. It had beautiful trees, bridges, and landmarks to it. Overall, if I were to recommend this game to anyone, I would do it without a heartbeat. I would recommend it to anyone of any age. It was fun, interesting, exciting, stress reliever, as well as pain reliever. To conclude, I encourage everyone to give this game a try because it’s worth the play.

    Nov 1st, 2012 at 20:43:18     -    Jumporama 2 (Arcade)

For GameLog ten, I chose to play Jumporama 2. It was a horse riding game. The purpose of the game was to successfully ride the horse while jumping the hurdle without falling to the ground. The game had basic levels to it. The first level, of course, was to be completed successfully before moving to the next level. The first level also seemed very easy to complete. This, in my opinion, made the game interesting. The controls and mechanics were easy to apply and follow. The spacebar was used to jump while the left arrow was used to brake and the right arrow was used to accelerate. What I also found interesting was the fact that you could pick a country where you wanted the horse riding to take place. It had various countries to it. The scenery were the game was played was beautiful to watch. It was bright and colorful. It had tress, and other objects to it and this in my opinion, made playing the game worthwhile. The sound heard or played throughout was not annoying, matter of fact, it was enjoyable to listen to. It was not too repetitive at all. It had this rock beat to it. The game provided me with three chances to successfully complete a level and whenever this was not accomplished, it was game over for me. This I found not cheating at all. It basically gave me the chance to perfect my jump and move forward to complete other levels. Overall, I really enjoyed playing Jumporama 2 and I would highly recommend it to anyone, to babies, adults, teenagers, and old people. It was worth the play. It was interesting, exciting, not boring, released stress, and relieved pain. So to everyone thinking about playing this game, I would highly recommend to play it now because it’s worth the play.

    Oct 27th, 2012 at 11:38:46     -    Milk Truck (Arcade)

Milk Truck was the game I decided to play for GameLog nine. It was an uphill racing game. The purpose of playing Milk Truck was to go to the super market, get some groceries and food, and deliver those items to your truck to the finish line before time runs up. However, there were big drops and hills on the route which made the ride challenging. This I found pretty interesting and tough. The overall mechanics on how to play the game was pretty easy to follow and understand. The up arrow was used to speed up, the down arrow was used to brake, and the left or right arrow was used to lean. The game had different stages to it. Whenever the goods got transported from one end to the other end without any difficulties, the next level became available to the gamer. Also, there were bonus points earned whenever the goods got transported to the finish line without them falling to the ground. The more the levels completed, the more the challenges became hard. The roads became more complicated to transport the goods which made some goods fall on the roadside even before it got to the finish line to beat the time. The scenery was pretty. It was colorful and for this reason, it made playing the game worthwhile and enjoyable. The sound heard throughout the game play was also relieving to hear. It wasn’t annoying to listen to. Overall, I loved playing Milk Truck and I would highly recommend it to anyone of any age; to babies, males, females, and even to older people. It was fun, exciting, stress reliever, interesting, pain reliever, and most importantly not boring. It was worth the play. I play it over and over without getting tired and bored of it.

    Oct 18th, 2012 at 21:28:12     -    3D Motorbike Racing (Arcade)

For GameLog eight, I chose to play, yet, another motor racing, 3D Motorbike Racing. The purpose of 3D Motorbike racing was to complete all three laps and the first at the finish line got the chance to unlock the other levels. There were six levels in total. I found the levels pretty interesting because they were all in different countries which meant that the racing would take place in those countries when unlocked. The instructions on how to play the game were pretty clear to understand and follow. The left key arrow was used to turn left, the right key arrow was used to turn right, the up arrow key was used to move forward, and the down arrow key was used to move backwards. I liked the idea that the players could customize their own motorcycles and choose the gender they want to be. It makes them feel involved with the game. What I also liked was the fact that the game could be played either by a single player or multi-players. Most of the games I have played did not have those options; therefore, it made the games boring. Also, I liked the fact that there was a map indicating how the road was. That made the racing a lot easier for me. Overall, there was nothing bad I disliked while laying 3D Motorbike racing. I enjoyed the game completely. If I had to recommend this game to anybody, I would. I would recommend it to people of all ages including old people and babies. It was worth the play. It was fun, stimulating, interesting, stress reliever, and enjoyable. On that note, I would encourage everyone to get his or her helmets on and get racing in this fast paced 3D Motorbike racing game.
