I finished the game. It took a little less than 5 hours to complete and....it's an interesting game...I was so confused at first, but what seems to have happened is that these rectangles (Thomas, Chris, John, Claire, Laura, James, and Sara) all have different motives and opinions, but eventually learn to work together to free all the other AI stuck in this game. That's the short and sweet version of course. Solid puzzles even though the game can bug out every so often. Philosophy wise, there wouldn't be much just to look at the surface, but the sacrifice being made by those rectangles to free the thousands of others? There can be a lot of discussion there.

I've played for about a half hour or so (forgot to set the timer) and conflict erupted through the boxes (albeit passive aggressive conflict since they can't seem to talk) until they all die by some pixely black ball? I'll have to play more to learn what's occurring.

I've played for about an hour. The game seems centered around platform puzzles and these boxes with little gimmicks. The main draw however is the narrator and how he conveys how each box is feeling or thinking. It's exploring the friendship and relationships built between these boxes and how it evolves over time.

I finished the game a few days back (internet was down for a while). The ending, without spoiling it, was an amazing climax with a devastating decision. Asking the question as old as time: needs of the many vs the needs of the few or even one. To put into context, killing hundreds of everyday people to save one important person. A hard question to answer only made harder when you have personal connections with both sides. For those of you who watch Game Theory on YouTube, you know that the decision is a lot deeper than numbers, it's something that defines who you as a person are. Who you as a person will become.
(Oh and by the way I was totally right In my earlier predictions)
