It was pretty sad that no one attended the old mans funeral. and the guy in charge was like "meh, yeah just dispose of the body". yet it was also a very nice touch that charlie still payed respects regardless,, and treated his body with the same care as her other clients, despite his circumstance. we can start to see the protagonist (charlie) versus the antagonist (chad) who is continuously exploiting his customers.

It's interesting and adds a +1 point for "ethicality" that the game forces you to pay respects during the funeral before leaving. I've also noticed that in the suicide and bike accident there are constant remarks about the body not being in condition to be an open casket, or just being in bad condition YET when cleaning it and prepping it for the funerals the body its just as decent condition as the others. I find that that adds civility to the game, maybe the player can "get the point" and not explicitly show the dead body. Also another +1 for morality of asking the player whether or not they wan't to prepare a body with suicide as the cause of death, the details aren't explicit yet that can be touchy subject, as death is already touchy in itself. I can also start to see where things start going downhill, for the new funeral director starts referring charlie as "Charlotte" and being more professional, less personable and being more corporate. Which I can see as problematic down the line due to less caring about the customer, more caring about milking grieving families for as much as they have :(

This game is very interesting and i can see it being slightly controversial. I'm not sure how accurate the medical procedures are so that could also be a problem. It's like watching the TV show ER, you're either learning from it via it's accuracy in fictional situations based off real life, or you're being fed misinformation due to inaccuracy. Regardless I think it's a cute game. I left off at the part where they cremate Mr. Reyes and I receive the email saying that the family business is essentially going out of business. Some questions I can think of is is it unethical to misrepresent a sensitive subject/ profession? some people actually do this for a living, so would it be misrepresentation on their behalf? And if so why is it unethical. Also some of the comments the NPCs made were somewhat touchy, insensitive per se. you would think, it's normal for people to cope with death and other touchy things by making jokes, ect, but there's a time and a place. and what about making a game on it? Is that a statement or just another coping mechanism?

Decided to run around and explore and found actual humans! No significant interaction here but it is ironic when 2b is called by a fellow android to check up she starts acting like an android again with the things she says. It's like an internal struggle for here. And it's interesting to see the other androids interact like the one that called her was very giddy and bubbly, very much human like and curious about the weather. So was 9s, when he asked about how if the boars grew as big and out abnormal as the plants. The world around is very interesting. I found the "pray" feature when interacting with the dead bodies of other player androids also ironic for androids can't/wont/ don't even understand the idea of praying.
