I beat the game. As it turns out, there's a keg in the back of the pub that I didn't realize was a pub that I missed. The ending of the game makes me realize the point of the concept of the game. The main criticism the game makes of how people use religion is that many people use the concept of repentance as a way to feel better about themselves, rather than as a way to understand morality. I think that's a good starting point for my OPA.

Four Last Things does feel reminiscent of old school point and click adventures. It has mostly linear puzzles that are figured out through context clues. Unfortunately for me, what happens with most old school point and click adventures happened with this one as well. I got stuck. I can't seem to figure out what to do after distracting the pie king.

I found Four Last things pretty interesting. It starts out already a decently funny game. The concept of needing to commit sins in order to be absolved in the correct parish is pretty fun and the conversations can get pretty strange and meta. It contains some harsh critiques, not so much of religion, but in how people use them. It's lacks any subtleties, with the bishops at the start of the game being mouthpieces for these criticisms, but I'm interested in seeing where the game goes with it.

Nier Automata starts out raising a few questions about what it means to be human. Often times, no biological material exists in their bodies anymore, including their brains. In one specific, but blunt case, a man holds on to his last remaining piece of organic matter, his leg. I've really yet to see someone who's already lost all their original parts feel differently about their own body, so I'm not really feeling the emotional weight.
