    Second entry

    Gameplay-

In my second round of playing I played with a different family where my Sims got divorced. My Sim caught his wife cheating on him when he got home from work. After the divorce the mom moved out of the house and the dad kept the kids.

The divorce was hard on the kids but time will ease their pain. Now the husband hates his wife and his daughter is becoming a rebel. She skips school and doesn’t do her homework. Unlike her brother who is trying to do his best to move on with his life. Playing this game feels as if I am Big Brother watching over everyone and controlling their actions.

    Design-

The Sims 2 has one of the best game designs. Being able to create your own town and your own families is really fun. The most creative part is how the characters interact with each other like real people. Since the Sims 2 is an open ended game you never know what is going to happen. Even though I am in control of their lives, the actions I create for them don’t always end up the way I planned.

In the Sims there aren’t any levels unless goals are set up. The Sims 2 doesn’t necessarily create conflict unless the player creates it, which the best part. This game keeps a player interested because there is always something new to try and something new to learn from the game. Each character created is unique and brings something new to the town. I don’t think I want anything to be different in the Sims 2 game.
