| Classic Log 2|
Upon playing Super Smash Brothers a second time, I became more and more addicted to the game. With each new level presented, I was encouraged to keep on playing more and more. Apart from the actual levels in the game, mini-games are also presented. Although these seem pointless, mini-games boost your overall score. Upon completion of the game, I was disappointed that the game was so easy to beat. However, I soon discovered that new characters were now available to use such as Captain Falcon and Jigglypuff.
Besides a solo mode, the game also offers a versus mode. Once I completed the solo mode, I invited some of my friends to play and tried out the versus mode. Although they were all better than me, versus mode was extremely fun. It was, if not more, just as addicting as solo mode and provided a good hour of entertainment. Versus mode is also great because it allows players to play as their favorite character and encourages you to form a special bond with one of the lovable Nintendo characters.
Super Smash Brothers is innovative because it brings different Nintendo characters from different games into one game. Furthermore, each character has his or her own individual moves. This encourages players to learn the moves of each character and see which one they prefer to use. The game creates conflict by basically throwing all these characters into one area along with some random weapons and letting them have at it.
The levels in the game are very complex. Each level is unique and has many areas to explore and battle. The levels are also based off Nintendo games making the game more fun to play. The game is addictive for players hurriedly try to complete one level just so they can move on to the next one. The reward structure in the game is quite simple. You basically defeat one enemy just to move on to the next one until the game ends. Overall, Super Smash Brothers is an amazing game because it is quite addictive and creative.

| Classic Game Log 1|
I chose to play the classic Nintendo 64 title, Super Smash Brothers. In the game, you play as one of eight classic Nintendo characters. The character list includes: Mario, Pikachu, Yoshi, Samus, Link, Fox, Kirby, and Donkey Kong. Your goal in the game is to battle other characters in an arena as fast you can. With every attack you perform, your enemy's damage level is increased. Eventually, when the opposing character's damage level reaches a certain point, a knockout will occur, and the next level will be presented.
When I first played this game, I had no clue what I was doing. Before I could start the actual game, I had to enter practice mode just so I could learn the character controls. It took me at least thirty minutes of playing before I memorized which button controlled what action. Although it was frustrating at first, the game was quite fun to play once I got the hang of it.
The characters in the game are quite fun to play as and against. When I first started playing through the levels, I used the character Mario, for he is the true symbol of Nintendo. The gameplay itself is quite intriguing for there is a variety of moves which characters can perform. The more you play, the better you get at using attacks, resulting in your personal enjoyment as you transform your cute, innocent Nintendo character into a fighting machine! Overall, the game is very addicting and interesting.
