    Hatoshi's Maple Story (PC)

    [January 12, 2007 03:20:33 PM]
Okay well, after a patch that added more to the "wedding land" of Amoria, I decided to check it out again. I found a lot more quests and monsters which I decided to attempt with my level 42 Cleric. An added bonus was that they added a quest where you could get a random hair cut that would usually require real money. However, many of these hair cuts were extremely ugly, but I was blessed with the best haircut they had to offer(to me). Anyways, I went on my many accounts and got the free hair style and for the most part I was really happy.
I chose not to do this random haircut because I already bought a random hair cut and I got hair that I liked. Additionaly, my clothes were from cash shop (a birthday present from one of my high school friends) and I didn't want to ruin what I looked like it. I also decided to go on what we call a "suicide mission" where we would go to an incredibly high leveled place and try to survive till the end. These are fun because well..it's just fun to see what's coming up next. I decided to go to the gigantic fish boss called Pianus. In order to get to it, I needed to pass level 90 monsters which I passed due to my relatively close level, but once I got inside the battlefield, my HP and MP dropped to one and I tried fighting it, but eventually died in close to ten seconds.
Right now I'm power leveling to level 80 in order to do another "suicide mission" which requires a level 80 limit. I hope it goes well.

Sorry for the above post, it wasn't working at first and it was a test post. Then I found out I couldn't delete it....anyways..

As a White Knight at lvl 75 I've come to experience a lot of different things in the land of Maple Story. From being on Maple Island (The Beginner land) to the main island all the way to the toy land of Ludibrium. I tried this game at first because my friends told me it was really addictive. Knowing that online games such as Gunbound, where I couldn't stop playing, were going to waste a lot of time, I decided to pass, but I couldn't help it and I started Maple Story.
Immediately, I was hooked. I would play day and night so I could be stronger and get new skills and visit new worlds. However, after a while, I started to notice that all I did was train, train, train, train, do a quest, train, train and train some more. It got extremely repetitive and things became to get a bit boring. Especially since I took the "hell path" where in order to become a White Knight, which was viewed as one of the most respected classes on Maple Story. This is due to the fact that one needs to become a Page first which is terribly weak and can barely get through training for an extra 40 levels. At level 70, when I finally became a White Knight, I quit for some time.
However, when I went to college, Maple Story was the only way I could keep in touch with my High School friends so I picked it up again. And now, I find myself addicted once again. *sigh*

Hatoshi's opinion and rating for this game

It's very addicting in the beginning, but it dies away fast. (The log added at 3:08 was my old log that I saved on notepad which I finally got to work)

    Rating (out of 5):starstarstar
