Do you think it is true that you can unlock Waluigi in super mario 64.Because I have all the steps here but I don't know if it is true.And I also have not tried it because I need 150 power stars to do it.but who knows. What do you guys think?If you have 150 stars try it!here are the steps:
Instructions
1
Start Super Mario 64 DS Adventure Mode. Select a profile with 150 stars and select Mario as your character.

Go to the outside of the main castle. Look for the tall tree to the left of the castle. Put the "wing cap" on Mario and climb as high as you can on this tree. Looking at the castle from atop the tree, you will see a hollow black box. Fly from the tree and hit the box coming at a slight angle. This may require some trial and error as you must be dead on when hitting the box. A special sound effect will play once you have successfully hit the box. This will open a vortex on the Princess Peach painting that is above the castle.

Climb back to the top of the same tree. Maneuver your way to the top-front of the castle and fly directly into the Peach painting. This will take you to a mirror room similar to the one found earlier in the game.

Kill the Goomba on the left side. Take the Luigi hat it was wearing.

Remove the flower from the pedestal on the right. Become invisible and jump through the painting of Waluigi.

Notice the two doors that are now available. One is locked. The other leads to the key. Take the cap and go to the left opening.

Wall jump to the right from ledge to ledge. It is a dark room, so move slowly. Keep going until you reach the top-most ledge to the right. You will find a chest. Open it and take the "Waluigi Cap Key."

Go back out the way you came. Head to the door that was locked. Opening it will give you access to Waluigi.

I like super mario 64 but I can never pass it because I can't find the last secret star so I always end up with 149 power stars.
