    Sup3rCondor's Yakuza 0 (XBONE)

    Well I have finished the game. It took me a solid 27 hours to be, so its pretty significant for a Japanese brawler. The story was great all the way through. There were some melodramatic and cheesy moments throughout, but these didn't hurt the game overall.

    The combat was fun and only started to feel a little boring towards the end of the game (I was playing on the easiest difficulty to save time).

    The most impressive thing I would say is that with every character in the story, I liked at one point or another. There aren't really any plain caricatures in the main story. Everyone has motivation, and a lot of the time it makes sense.

    The game world is great! I haven't ever been to 1980s Tokyo, but this game gave me a glimpse into what it was like.

    Like any good Japanese game, Yakuza 0 takes itself very usuriously serious. I felt just about every emotion possible while playing through the game. Its a special experience, and I look forward to continuing my journey through the Yakuza series.

    I finished chapter 9 and half of 10. Both of these chapters are about Kiryu. Part of chapter ten involves going to the Tojo headquarters to speak to the chairman. This visit concludes with the largest fight in the game up to that point. While is didn't have a boss battle, it does include fighting seemingly endless waves of enemies. This got a little boring near the end, but thankfully it ended before it got too bad.

    I also realized while playing as Kiryu this time around that though I like Majima's story better, I think that I like Kiryu's character better.

    The game is also starting to cross the stories of the two main characters over. It'll interesting to see how they cross over. With how good the story has been so far, I don't doubt it will be good.

    Yesterday I finished the 7th and 8th chapters. In both of these chapters the player plays as Majima. In these chapters, Majima is tasked with killing a girl that looks like Makato in order to make it look like he carried his hit out. He doesn't end up doing it, but someone else does, and then Majima's cover is blown. He fights through waves of bad guys while protecting Makato. Just as they are about to escape Osaka, the van they are gonna leave in blows up and Majima's mob boss approaches about to kill him and suddenly he is shot and the man that shot him knocks out Majima. That is where chapter 8 ends.(That was a bad summary)

    Its quite interesting how well this game blends the two separate storylines that are going on so far. I find myself wanting to play both, and neither of them drag on for very long. As I progress through the game it seems the chapters are getting shorter and shorter. I've got nine chapters to play through and I've put in around 15 hours so far. I'm definitely gonna finish this one.

    I have played around 15 hours of Yakuza 0 so far. The story is fantastic! I'm totally engaged in both Kiryu and Majima's stories. Over the last couple of play sessions I have been suprised to be caught up in the optional night club simulator that players can play in the game. It's crazy how even good that part of the game is! I look forward to continuing to play.

    This game has a great story, fun gameplay, and a lot of the charm that only Japanese made games can have.
