ghana64's GameLog for Super Columbine Massacre RPG (PC)

    Tuesday 23 February, 2010

This is my third and final day of writing about this game. I am now resuming my game at what is considered the massacre. I have at this point killed everyone in the parking lot and I am now heading into the school. O, and the boys randomly saved one guy that they liked. They spared his life and told him to flee. Now, back to the massacre. I wasn’t able to go into the classes while messing with the bombs, now I can go in them. And this time I kill teachers as well. Not just students. And the students appear by group’s i.e. nerdy girl, preppy girl, jock, preppy boy, popular girl and even church girl etc. The first class I took them into must be a science class because the teacher killed was a science teacher. I also explore the class room to see if there are any items I can get, because, at this point I have not received any money and there is a place for money, and I haven’t received many items. I find that I can break the computer in the class room, but that is all so far. I found out that I have to equip them with the knives and that I the Marilyn Manson CD and the Doom game are accessories you can equip. I didn’t know that. I just played around in the menu and found all this out. I can also taunt to lower the student or teachers accuracy and/or defense. I guess it helps if they try to attack you. They get stunned from the threat as well. And its kind of funny that when they dodge an attack it says “Dodged Matrix style”.

After killing the science lab I run into a sheltered girl. Most of the females in this game die kind of fast. So, to me the game is implying that females are weak. Also, before it was really hard to dodge people while trying to not get caught, now they are running from me and are a little hard to catch. I have now entered the English room and Dylan says to his teacher Mrs. Kelly “too bad you didn’t like my writing” and then goes to kill her. She is also the first person I have run into that had an actual name instead of a title. The only other person that had a name was the one boy that they spared in the parking lot. They attacked the English teacher and didn’t kill her in one turn, she cried and it healed her.. There is also the goody goody girl and of course she dies fast. I run into a Bumpkin and he dies even faster then the females. I also run into an openly gay man. The third class I go into is a math class and the math computer had a cookbook on it that the boys downloaded. Next is the social studies class and the social studies teacher dropped a medickit. So, I’m guessing the best way to get items is to kill people and receive them as drops.. I have now run into a group of enemies. Before all I ran into were single enemies, so this is a change. The group consists of a church boy, jock, preppy boy and a black boy. If the church boy prays he heals himself and sometimes gets stats like more defense. I also run into a pretty girl for the first time in this room. I am going to stop my gameplay here for this log.

While playing the game I felt like I was playing Final Fantasy 7 by SquareSoft, but a really gory version of it. The look and feel of the game is like that. The characters look very much like them. The fighting and turn based attacks were just like final fantasy 7. It was unethical for the boys to kill people just because they want to. Society says it is wrong to kill someone, so this entire game is completely unethical because the game is all about killing the people at their school. This is the end of my game logs.

"She is also the first person I have run into that had an actual name instead of a title. The only other person that had a name was the one boy that they spared in the parking lot."

Why do you think the creator chose to use real names so sparingly? Should he have avoided that altogether? What do you think?
