Starting my 3rd round of Super Columbine Massacre I have come to realize that I will never play this game again. I just ended up running around killing people till I got bored. The game never progressed for me, I probably didn't follow the rest of the plans but that's because I really couldn't read what I was ment to do. The game is really messed up. They force you to kill as many people as possible without dieing. I know some games are designed after this concept but most of the time your the hero and you feel good about it. In this game you are killing innocent people who don't deserve to die, they never did anything wrong and the fact they just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time means that they loose their life for no reason. This game is really able to mess with your head. At first you can cope with the killers because of the pain they went through but after awhile it ends up draining you and you feel messed up after awhile. I will never recommend this game to anyone because of how it messed with me.

After I planted the bombs and got back out of the school I had to meet up on the hill and that was almost impossible because I didn't know where to stand to get the game to progress. I had to go to a walk through to find exactly where I needed to stand. One reason I think I messed up was because of the resolution I was using for my monitor (1440 x 900) It stretched the text so much to the point that I couldn't under stand the text. Anyways the bombs didn't go off like in real life and I ended up going into the school to the lunchroom, pulling the fire alarm and causing chaos. I went to a few school rooms which is when the killing began. The only people who would actually attack back were the jocks which I found interesting. They were the people who hated me the most and they were willing to try and kill me. When I noticed this I started to only target the jocks which I guess shows something about myself. I feel that I was able to cope with the killers and I could understand where they were coming from. They were put down their whole lives by these kids and finally one day they snapped and ended up creating a rampage in their school. Now I agree that no one desires to die but when a game is able to turn real death into a virtual reality you are able to better understand why someone would do something the way they did.

Starting this game was a little weird. Being asked to take the role of a shooting at columbine tends to mess with your head. The game starts by you waking up and getting a call from from your friend asking if our ready to go off and have the best day of your life. You start by going down to your basement and getting everything ready to throw in the trunk of the car. When you arrive at school your first job is to take two propane bombs and place them in the cafeteria just like it happened in real life. This is where I became extremely frustrated with the game. I took me over a half and hour just to get to this point after many failed attempts. I feel that this game gives you a nice insight into how difficult it was for these kids to pull something like this off. It also starts to make you think that they were able to do all of this and no one noticed. It gives you insight on to how much these kids were ignored by the rest of society and they finally snapped and attacked back. While this game is extremely disturbing looking further into it can help you under stand why something like this happened.

After playing a few missions I decided to go ahead and essentially jump to the end of the game as to say that everything was unlocked and I could go anywhere without restrictions. I used a couple of cheats to unlock everything, get all the weapons and of course spawn a tank. Oh and I turned on the ability to make cars fly. I jumped in the tank, turned the turret backwards and starting shooting. Due to the amount of the force of the gun the tank quickly took of the ground and starting flying around and all I had to do was the fire the gun everyone once in awhile and the tank kept flying. This game me an idea. I decided to land the tank and start causing mass amounts of carnage in the streets of San Andreas. When I had a five star rating and the army started to show up I decided to make my get away by air and fly around for awhile every once in awhile landing back down to cause more problems. When the helicopters starting following me instead of fleeing from them I just flew right into them. I mean come on I have a flying tank. You really can't take that down. What I came to realize is when I used the cheats I threw all punishment out of the window. I couldn't be caught or killed and whatever I did I could easily escape. Most people tend not to commit crimes because there is a punishment for it, you will end up in jail for your crimes or even possibly be sentenced to death. Most people don't want to spend the rest of their life in jail so instead they will just not commit the crime. Most people don't commit a crime because its the wrong thing to do but because they don't want the punishment associated with it. I felt that using cheat codes helped me reproduce this same feeling in the game. Since I knew nothing would happen to mean I was in complete power. If you were to apply this to modern society if everyone had complete power some would do good until one person ruined it. Then it would turn into complete anarchy. You would have to worry about a massive tank running you over as you walked to work. Using the cheat codes helped me understand that rules are in place because people tend not to grasp the ideas of morality and tend to just worry about themselves in modern society. Everything is driven by the "O Holy" Dollar and people just want more money even if it means breaking the law. After using cheat codes I was better able to understand how society functions. While not everyone will be flying tanks and yes this example was a little extreme it can be applied to normal day situations everywhere. If you don't want someone to do something to you then you yourself should not do it.
