Current opinion of this game
Nothing here to look at. Really. Move along. Even fans of the series...

Big fan of the show. Really enjoyed the orginal (PSOne!) game (kick ass soundtrack as well). This game? Not so much.

That's 2 PSP disappointments in a row that shows that I'm either scraping the bottom of the barrel in terms of the games I have left unplayed or that I should really stop impulse buying based on price and do some more research. In the past, however, I've enjoyed games that have been reviewed poorly, so perhaps I'm simply running out of patience? (it doesn't help to have a lot of unplayed games staring back at me angrily!)

This game SEEMS really interesting. And it might be. But I don't have the patience at the moment. The story seems standard-fare for GiTS:SAC (convoluted, political, intrigue, etc.) and the gameplay (as I slowly realized) might be neat as well (pick weapons, arm a Tachikoma, go on FPS missions) but the mission design...

Ok, I only finished the 2nd mission - but it was so boooooring! And frustrating. I had to wander around, shoot some bad guys, and then spend a lot of time wandering around trying to find some bombs. I lost twice because I ran out of time finding the bombs. It doesn't help that the aiming wasn't all that easy (for me), but still.

I decided to put the game down simply because I realized that I was dreading to go back to it...

kudos for original design to Rodrigo Barria
