I picked this up the last time I was in Japan (mostly went for used games that were cheap, fun/neat, and that I thought I could reasonably play without knowing any Japanese). Great idea! I have NO idea what a lot of the game was about other than general reading of the different scenarios/songs and the overall storyline. As for the gameplay? Well, nothing new there since I'd already played Elite Beat Agents (though it took me a while to get into the groove, I'll have to admit). The songs? Sure, there were some fun ones I enjoyed listening to. (anything famous in Japan went way over my head). Worth it? Totally. It's such a great example of how a game -without having to rely on language, can genuinely be funny. I really enjoyed it! |
