Having recently played "Jake Power: Fireman", I'm a little disappointed in this one - and I think that the target audience (kids) who were excited by the series probably would have been disappointed as well. This game - the Policeman version - works well along, it's short, fun, mini-games, not a lot of variety but fun enough. BUT, in the context of a series, it's a let down because a few of the mini-games are essentially the same.

So, you drive a policecar to get to the locations - just like the fireman.
You climb ladders - just like the fireman (here you go down a few times though!).
The fingerprinting game looks deliciously better than the foot stomping one from the fireman game, but they're the same essentially.

Not all the mini-games are "clones" though - the flashlight shining LOOKS similar to the firehose spraying game, but the firehose is slow and a bit boring (you hold the spray in a location until the fire dies down) while the flashlight is fast - flash it at a thief and he's busted!

So, I played enough to see and try all the minigames (the blank removing/busting was more fun that the fire hydrant rotating one) - and then moved on. Becuase, the game's meta-structure is also identical (you unlock parts pieces and options for the cop car rather than the firetruck).

I wonder if they're made by the same studio? It would be wild if not - but I can check easily by looking at the box.
