Current opinion of this game
Fun, though it takes some getting used to. Think of it as a shooter with personality and you should do ok. Not very deep.

Played more, and more and more. For score. I eventually opened up all the difficulty levels and have decided to declare myself "done" with this game. It was fun, worth the bargain price I paid and a break from my usual GBA fare.

Yup. I'm still playing this game and I'm starting to enjoy it more and more.. his obviously has to do with the fact that I'm getting better and understanding some of the subtleties of the game.

It's strange, since I'm not someone who would normally go for a game like this, but I'm enjoying playig levels for score. I keep going back and back to try out riskier mmovements and whatnot. I still haven't ramped up the speed too much, but I'm getting there.

This game has a really cool feature. You can save your game anywhere (3 slots per mode). This is SOOOOO helpful to me since I play on the train. Of course, when I reload a saved game I'll usually lose pretty soon, but that's my fault, not the games!

I've played this twice already. My initial impression was not very good. It seems to chaotic and hard to figure out what is going on. Hot Potato is basically a shooter-puzzler. At this moment I can say that I'm starting to understand the game a bit better and it is definitely more interesting than I initially thought. In particular, it helps to get a bit better at the game, eh?
